Role Overview:
CSIRO has an opportunity for a motivated and organised administrator to join a small team providing support for Telstra mobile servicesand software licensing in Australia’s premier research organisation.
The successful applicant willassist clients with their usage of Telstra mobile services byresponding to client initiated requests and routine tasks and promptly resolving them or escalating them for further investigation or assistance. You will also assist staff with software licensing and the deployment of software using in house tools and vendor licensing portals and other ad-hoc tasks as required.
This role will suit someone with attention to detail and good time management skills.
This position is part time approximately 22 hours per week. The working pattern will be agreed with the successful applicant.
Duties and Key Result Areas:
- Assist staff to activate, update and terminateTelstra voice and data services.
- Maintain software subscriptions though internal and vendor licensing tools.
- Process tasks relating to staff cessation administration including reassigning software licenses and terminating mobile phone plans.
- Liaise with CSIRO officers, IMT colleagues and Telstra representatives with regards to client related queries.
- Respond to client requests using CSIRO’s call tracking tools.
- Participating in service improvement projects to reduce costs, increase security and improve service in software management and Telstra mobile services
- Communicate effectively and respectfully with all staff, clients and suppliers in the interests of good business practice, collaboration and enhancement of CSIRO’s reputation.
- Provide instruction and assist other staff to complete allocated tasks and activities, as required.

- Other duties as directed.

Pre-Requisites:
- Communication: Ability to communicate in a courteous manner, both orally and in writing, relaying basic facts, responding appropriately, and posing relevant questions to gain information.
