4th Annual

“STICK IT” TO HUNGER FOOD DRIVE

December 6th, 2015

In conjunction with our December 6th, 2015 meet, K & G Gymnastics is pleased to announce its 4th “Stick it” to Hunger Food Drive with all items being donated to the ECHO Food Shelf, Mankato, Minnesota.

We are encouraging every gymnast to donate personal care items for girls of their age; and for those attending the meet, to donate 2 non-perishable food items to receive $1.00 off their admission.

Some information about ECHO:

ECHO began in 1981 in a church basement and was intended for short term food assistance to people in the Mankato area. ECHO has relocated several times to larger facilities to accommodate the growing need for food assistance. Monthly, ECHO serves approximately 1,300 households and distributes 93,000 pounds of food.

Some of the most requested items at ECHO:
Cereal
Pasta & Pasta Sauce
Macaroni & Cheese
Boxed Main Dishes
Condiments
Juice
Personal Care Items
Diapers & Wipes (Larger sizes and pull ups)

Or Make a Financial Contribution. For every $1.00 donated, ECHO is able to purchase $10.00 worth of food because of its access to discount products and programs.

We will also have raffle items and a dash for cash with all proceeds for these ticket sales being donated to the ECHO food shelf

Thank you for your help in supporting this great organization!
