Lesson Cloning Policy

Purpose: We will need to clone lessons from time to time. Content must remain available to clients for reporting and for verification of training to governing bodies such as The Joint Commission and the OIG.

Procedure: Proposals for a cloned lesson must be discussed between the customer and client services representative.

All information must be filled in before cloning request will be processed.

Important Note: The new lesson title must differ from the original lesson title in order to distinguish itself within a course or module on the customer’s platform.

Joint Commission Specific:

·  Cloning can only be completed from the (2) courses available on the client site at the time of the cloning request

·  December 15th of the current year is the deadline for cloning a course before it is removed from the client site

o  Example: December 15, 2011 is the deadline to clone the ‘2010 The Joint Commission/OSHA’ course before it is removed January 1, 2012

Before any lessons will be cloned, the following information is required:

1. Client has been notified and accepts responsibility for updating the lesson(s).

2. Client understands that changes submitted to a stock lesson will not automatically be assigned to the cloned lesson.
