A RESOLUTION in loving memory of Angela "Angie" Renae Darneal-Brown.

WHEREAS, Angela "Angie" Renae Darneal-Brown was born on April 30, 1967, in Woodford County, Kentucky, to Drucilla E. Darneal of Midway, Kentucky, and Roland Anthony of Lexington, Kentucky; and

WHEREAS, Angela "Angie" Renae Darneal-Brown was the devoted wife of Ira Henry Brown, the loving mother of Jahon Elaine Brown, the beloved granddaughter of Juanita C. Darneal, the admired daughter-in-law of Carolyn Brown and Ronald Baltimore, and the respected sister-in-law of Brenda Brown, Shekeria Wallace, and LaDonna Baltimore; and

WHEREAS, Angela "Angie" Renae Darneal-Brown was the treasured niece of Alfrena C. Bates, Billie Rothel Martin, Beverly Darneal, Mary Anthony, Betty Anthony, Jeanette Owsley, Hildred Thomas, and Herbert Christy; and

WHEREAS, Angela "Angie" Renae Darneal-Brown was a dear relative of many nieces, nephews, and cousins and the special cousin of Nicole Lambus; and

WHEREAS, Angela "Angie" Renae Darneal-Brown could be described simply as a good soldier who has fought a good fight, finished her course, and kept her faith; and

WHEREAS, Angela "Angie" Renae Darneal-Brown was a loving, compassionate, and giving soul; and

WHEREAS, Angela "Angie" Renae Darneal-Brown was a dedicated Christian, having been baptized on January 15, 1984, at the Pilgrim Baptist Church in Midway, Kentucky, where she remained an active and contributing member until her death; and

WHEREAS, Angela "Angie" Renae Darneal-Brown peacefully departed these earthly confines into the everlasting arms of her Lord on January 16, 2000; and

WHEREAS, the passing of Angela "Angie" Renae Darneal-Brown will leave a void in the hearts of relatives and friends that will be difficult to fill;

NOW, THEREFORE,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Kentucky:

Section 1. The House of Representatives does hereby express its profound sense of sorrow and extends its most heartfelt sympathy and condolences to the relatives of Angela "Angie" Renae Darneal-Brown.

Section 2. That when the House of Representatives adjourns this day, it does so in memory, honor, and tribute to Angela "Angie" Renae Darneal-Brown.

Section 3. The Clerk of the House of Representatives is hereby directed to transmit a copy of this House Resolution to Ira Henry Brown, 252 West Stephens Street, Midway, KY 40347; Drucilla E. Darneal, 252 West Stephens Street, Midway, KY 40347; and Jahon Elaine Brown, 252 West Stephens Street, Midway, KY 40347.
