Subway cost: The cost of a SingleRide ticket is $2.50. (Sold at vending machines only) Students will be responsible for purchasing at least one of these while in NYC to travel to Downtown.

Train cost: Last time it was $8.00 Round Trip.

Food/Shopping Expenses: Students/parents are responsible for paying for all food and shopping expenses. Chaperones will make every effort to find eating establishments that will minimize the food expenses for students, but keep in mind that the cost of living in NYC is much higher than Burlington. Please pack some snacks and drinks to carry with you while in town and on the bus.

Dress: Make sure to check the weather before we leave and pack appropriate clothing. (See your code of conduct for specific attire Monday and pool attire.)

Luggage: Luggage will be left under the bus while we are in town on Monday. Neither the travel company nor the school is responsible for any lost or stolen items. Also, remember to try to keep the number of suitcases to a minimum (people will shop while we are in NYC and there will be much less room on the bus coming home than going there)
