Minimum Requirements

You will have a degree in engineering, physical sciences or public health (M.S. in environmental health is highly desirable), along with seven years’ professional environmental health experience.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide management of contracts to implement environmental health inspections at contractor camps, co-ordinate environmental health field activities under the direction of the Unit Head or Senior Environmental Scientists and plan comprehensive environmental health assessments at various Company departments.
  • Co-ordinate and implement environmental health programs at Company operations, including industrial facilities, offshore platforms, residential areas and vendor premises.
  • Supervise or co-ordinate intra-departmental teams to implement and monitor corporate environmental policies and compliance.
  • Employ advanced professional and scientific methodology to identify and evaluate environmental or occupational hazards. Advise corporate authorities and personnel on the risks of managing hazards.
  • Design, implement and monitor the effectiveness of intervention strategies. Provide educational guidance and direction to personnel involved with the hazards.
  • Design Environmental Awareness and Education courses to promote sound environmental practices at work and in the community.
