KnottCountyCentralHigh School

December 5, 2015

Participants, Coaches, Judges, Parents and Friends,

Howdy, Partners! The Knott County Central Speech Team would like to take this opportunity to invite all of our “pardners” to the 18thAnnual Patriot Winter Classic. We are so excited that you have chosen to spend a portion of your holiday season with us.

The holidays are a great time to focus on happy holiday memories and make new ones! Just as we like to make memories with our traditional family structures, speech is a great way to spend time with a special kind of family. It provides us the opportunity to see friends that we may not see very often and our speech team is happy to be part of this wonderful occasion! We hope the Patriot Winter Classic helps to add to your joy this holiday season and allows you the opportunity to catch up with old friends.

Here’s wishing you a wonderful tournament and a blessed holiday. Best wishes and Merry Christmas, y’all!

  • We WILL be serving concessions including hot dogs, pizza, chips, nachos and drinks.
  • We will have a "ruckus on the ranch hotline" during the tournament for any issues that should arise. Please dial 130 from any of the classrooms.
  • Improv Duo will be as follows: Round I - Humorous, Round II - Serious, and Finals - Student Choice
  • Wait for Improv Duo will be in Room 212, our computer lab.All students who are performing in Improv Duo should report to the computer lab first. They will then be sent to their appropriate rooms. Students will prep in the room.
  • Extemp Draw is in the library. The draw for Broadcasting finals will also be in the library.
  • Impromptu topics will be as follows: Round I and II - quotations; Finals - object.
