GIRBAU PRESENTS
PROFITABLE AND SUSTAINABLE WASHING MACHINES
AT HOSTELCO 2008
Energy savings, profitability and ease of use are the factors which characterise Girbau's new products
Washing machines that save energy, water, time, chemicals, etc. plus high-performance water recovery and flatwork ironers which cut down on energy consumption levels. At Hostelco, Girbau will once again demonstrate how considerable savings can be made whilst upholding our commitment to the Environment.
“In an unfavourable economic situation like the one we are currently experiencing, cutting costs is the number one priority for any business. If, moreover, these cost-cutting actions come in the form of saving energy and water, we contribute to the building of a more sustainable world. Being sustainable is profitable” says the Chief Executive Officer of the Girbau Group, Mercè Girbau.
At Hostelco, Girbau will present the entire 6 Series range of washing machines, from the 9kg capacity model right up to the 122kg model.
The Energy Star programme has certified that Girbau's HS-6008 model is the washing machine that consumes the least water and energy on the American market. Girbau has now proportionally applied similar wash processes to those used for the Energy Star certification to the rest of the 6 Series models.
They have been developed in order to achieve the best possible wash action with the lowest energy and water consumption.
New controls that allow wash processes to be optimized via a simple and easy-to-use programming system have been incorporated, resulting in water, chemicals and energy savings. The maintenance tasks required by the units have also been reduced, saving money and time, and permitting laundries to increase their productivity.
Girbau will also present at Hostelco the new PSN-80 flatwork ironer, which has been notably improved in terms of an increase in performance of the thermal oil heater to 90%, compared to the 70% achieved by the majority of manufacturers. Thanks to its design, the PSN-80 allows performance to be increased by decreasing the consumption of gas.
“Convinced of the significant savings that our new units represent, we have initiated 'Plan Renove' to offer considerable bonuses to those clients who replace their machines, whatever brand they are, with ours. Our mission is the success of our clients. Now is the time to cut costs and increase productivity to face up to the current situation. Without the right equipment, that is difficult", adds Mercè Girbau.
In the Heavy-dutylaundry area, visitors to Hostelco will be able to see the Girbau TBS-50 Tunnel Batch Washer System, with a production capacity of up to 1,500 kg of linen per hour, and a complete range of Ironing Lines: Galaxy or Mini-Neptune feeding machines, the new Orion Plus folder, and the Triton towel folder.
Also present will be wall-type Ironers and Dryers of various capacities.
The entire Girbau product range is based on facilitating usability. Each machine uses a system of icons developed exclusively by Girbau on the controls, allowing the equipment to be used intuitively.
