Scope of work for renovation of Apt 1-2, East Lane Wembley, London
I.Plumbing Work
a.Removal/Blocking of existing pipelines in the entire unit
b. Installation of new pipes as per British Standards and quality
c. Insulating the pipes as required as per British Standards and quality
II. Painting/Internal Decoration :
a. Prepare/Prime/ Plaster all walls / ceilings including wood work, doors and skirting of the Living Room, Bed Rooms, Kitchen and covered areas
b. Repair cracks in the walls/ ceilings/ wood work
c. Repair of Block Wall
d. Supply and apply 3 coats of lycra Vinyl Silk Dulux paint to walls and two coats on ceiling (brilliant white Dulux) of approved British Standards (Internal) in Living Room, Bed Rooms, Kitchen, Washrooms, Storage and all other inside areas
III. Insulation Work
a. Insulation of the roof and side wall as per British Standard heat-resistent material
IV. Kitchen
a. Installation of New Chimney/vent conforming to British Standards and fire safety
b. Installtion of storage and cabinets coforming to British standards and fire safety
c. Installation of ceramic non-slip white floor tiles - Large format tiles: Sizes
( 60mm x 30mm or 60mm x 60mm), Strong, thick and Anti-slip.
From a Reputed Tile retailer e.g. Topps Tiles, Tile Giant, Tiles Direct, etc.
V. Electrical and Heating
a. Remove and dispose all existing electrical wiring
b. Install all new electrical wiring, replace plugs, sockets where required
c. Install new radiators pipe and new boiler
All Electrical installation to meet British Standards BS 7671, 17th Edition, all the electrical materials to meet British Standards BS 4177, BS 1363,

VI. Bathrooms
a. Remove and dispose existing bathroom tiles, sanitary fitting, all pipes,
b. Install new 33 X 33cm tiles ceramic non-slip floor tiles, sanitary fittings. pipes/drain-pipes, put sealant etc conforming to British Standards
Large format tiles: Sizes ( 60mm x 30mm or 60mm x 60mm), Strong, thick and Anti slip. From a Reputed Tile retailer e.g. Topps Tiles, Tile Giant, Tiles Direct, etc. Sanitary Fittings in white meeting British standards. Reputable Brands- Armitage Shanks, RAK, ROCO, Ideal Standard, Twyford, Moretti, Deva, Barra, etc.
VII. Flooring
a. Remove existing flooring
b Install new fire resistant parquet wooden flooring and new skirting in the
entire unit (except bathroom and kitchen) conforming to British Standards (internal)
VIII. Windows and door locks
a. Remove damaged windows/doors
b. Repair and Refit useable windows and install window locks
Meeting British security standards BS 3621-2007, BS 8621, BS 10621. Reputable Brands- Yale, ERA, Union, Smith & Locke, etc.
c. Repair doors and replace door locks in all rooms
IX Air vent
a. Remove and dispose existing air vent
b Install new air vents conforming to British Standards
X Curtains and Blinds
a. Remove and dispose existing blinds and curtains
b. Supply and install new curtains (Heavy and Net) and blinds as per sample approved by the High Commission
c. Change of curtain rails and accessories where required
Guarantee : Minimum guarantee of one year on workmanship by the Contractors and product by the manufacturers to be assured by the Contractor
Retention Money : 10 % of the amount tendered will be retained during defect liability period of one year.

Important notes:
· In case companies having sister companies/subsidiaries only ONE bid in the name
of the parent company will be accepted
· Quotations should show unit, total cost of materials and labour charges seperately.
· Work-hours should be strictly from 10am to 6pm, Monday to Friday
(except notified holidays).
· Common areas/ passages must be clear of any obstructions during weekends.
· Completion period: Work must be completed within a maximum of 12 weeks from starting day, failing
which a daily penalty of upto £ 1000.00 per day on the period of delay may
be levied
· The High Commission of India reserves the right to reject any Bid not found
suitable or within the defined parameters without assigning any reason
