Location: GOLDERS CHAPEL, SCHOOL LANE, DANEHILL RH17 7JQ
Description: CHANGE OF USE FROM AN EXISTING CHAPEL TO A TWO-BEDROOM
DETACHED DWELLING (PREVIOUSLY APPROVED UNDER
WD/2015/1640/F) BY REMOVING THE EXISTING FLAT ROOF REAR
EXTENSION AND FORMING NEW ROOMS IN THE ROOF.
The Parish Council objects to the application. There are significant issues with the visual plan not representing the actual dimensions and this application would adversely affect the neighbours to both sides reducing privacy. The Parish Council would request that the applicant respect condition 3 from the planning decision in relation to WD/2015/1640/Fand would request that the same condition be applied to future applications:
Before the first occupation of the building/extension hereby permitted the roof lights (east
and west elevation) shall be fitted with obscure glazing and shall be fitted with opening
restrictor.
Details of the opening restriction and obscure glazing shall be submitted to the Local
Planning Authority for approval.
The works in the scheme shall proceed only in accordance with the agreed details.
REASON: To safeguard the privacy of the occupiers of the adjoining property having
regard to SPO2, SPO13 and WCS14 to the Wealden Core Strategy Local Plan 2013,
Saved Policy EN27 of the adopted Wealden Local Plan 1998, coupled with the
requirements of paragraph 17 of the National Planning Policy Framework 2012.

Description: PROVISION OF ADDITIONAL PARKING SPACES AND
RECONFIGURATION OF EXISTING PARKING AREAS
The Parish Council objects to the application at a time when vehicle movements are being monitored and there is a restriction on housing development and the protection of the Ashdown Forest are top priorities for WDC the Council cannot support an application to extend the impermeable surface and increase facilities for car parking which would encourage more car journeys and would suggest a sustainable travel plan is reviewed instead.
