GUIDELINES FOR SELECTING A PROJECT
(Please delete this section when you complete the sheet)
Each delegate needs to bring a current change project to work on during the course. You will apply the Prosci Change Management methodology to your project and create a Change Management plan, which you will present for feedback and coaching.
Tips for selecting your project:
- Only one set of pre-work is required for each project team. Please submit this as a group
- Choose a project with a project plan (ie. there is a structured Project Management methodology being applied) as this will assist you to apply a structured Change Management methodology
- It is ideal if your change project is in the initiation, planning or solution design stage. This will enable you to proactively plan and implement the change management activities
- We have also found that “look back and learns” work well, where you apply the methodology to a completed project and gain insight into how it could have been managed
- If you are working on a large Program, please choose a part of that Program (one of the projects or a stage of the Program) to work on
- Please do not choose a Culture Change or Implementing Change Management project unless it has a project plan and project initiation document, as these projects are often too complex for a training environment
The Project Summary only needs to be 1 to 2 pages.
Please contact us if you have any queries about how to select a change project.
