Wednesday

1. Welcome to art class! First day powerpoint and teacher & class introduction.

2. Please read and complete the following papers:

a. Student Information Form

b. Class Expectations-sign the class poster!

c. Required Supplies (When are they due?)

d. Class Policies- sign the class poster!

3. Creativity Test: 20 Different Ways to Draw an Animal, 18x24" white paper

Your teacher will show you how to choose your animal.

4. What did you learn in Art 2?

Thursday

1. Elements of Art and Principles of Design PPT: Take notes! Critique the posters given your group and present your findings.

2. Sinks, paper towels, soap: proper use, drills: fire, tornado, lockdown

3. Put together your portfolio:

a. Fold the posterboard in half neatly. Cut it down to 20" on the large paper cutter to fit in your cubby.

b. Using clear tape, tape the two short sides shut so you have a pocket.

c. In Sharpie marker, write your full name and art level in large letters in the middle.
