Target Audience
This program has been designed for physicians, fellows, residents, medical students in the medical specialties of rheumatology.
Series Educational Objectives
After completing this activity, participants should be able to:
- Improve preventive health care measures for patients with rheumatological diseases who are immunocompromised, such as vaccinations
- Maintain clear practice in regards to screening and preventing medication toxicity in rheumatological disorders, such as antimalarial eye toxicity
- Discuss and incorporate into clinical practice the latest guidelines in therapy for rheumatological disorders as well as optimal use of therapeutic agents, and counseling patients about fetal toxicity of some of the agents used in rheumatology
