Notice is hereby given that a meeting of the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board for the City of Palm Valley will be held on the 4th day of November 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at Palm Valley City Hall, 1313 N. Stuart Place Road, Palm Valley, Texas.
AGENDA
1. Call to order
2. Citizen Communication – Limit (3) minutes
3. Discussion and possible action to approve the minutes of the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board meeting of October 5, 2015.
4. Briefing by Meg Jorn from Megamorphosis, Inc. regarding the proposed park alongside Jack Nicklaus Drive.
5. Discussion regarding the proposed park alongside Jack Nicklaus Drive.
6. Discussion and possible action to review sample ordinances regulating ‘race and rallies’ and make a recommendation to the City Council for its adoption.
7. Discussion and possible action to authorize the continuation of the City’s Annual Fun Run’, set a date and submit a request to the Lone Star Pacesetters asking for their participation to help organize the event.
8. Discussion regarding the merger of responsibilities from the Beautification Committee to the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board.
9. Discussion and possible action to authorize the expenditure of funds for the purchase of holiday decorations from budgeted funds allocated by the City Council.

I, the undersigned authority does hereby certify that the above Notice is true and correct and that said Notice was posted on the bulletin board on the outside front door of City Hall, 1313 N. Stuart Place Road, Palm Valley, Texas, a place convenient and readily accessible to the general public at all times and said Notice was posted on Thursday, October 29, 2015 at 4:30 p.m. and remained so posted continuously for at least 72 hours preceding the scheduled time of said meeting.
