Systems Engineer

PCI is actively seeking aSystems Engineer to ProvideEngineeringsupport to the Air Operations Center(AOC) Program Management Office (PMO), which is within the Battle Management Directorateat Langley AFB, VA.

Responsibilities:

Serve as Air Operations Center (AOC)systems engineering subject matter expert supporting the installation, upgrade, maintenance, sustainment, and modernization of systems in support of over 20 AOCs worldwide.

Perform engineering duties related to Core Infrastructure Domain Systems and system upgrades into the AOC Weapon System sustainment and modernization baselines. Systems may include but are not necessarily limited to the following:

  • CyberSecurity tools
  • Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS)
  • EnCase
  • Host-Based Security System (HBSS)
  • LogRhythm
  • Mission Defense Toolkit (MDT)
  • RED Identity Manager (RED-IM)

Support and advise the government to ensure delivered capabilities are integrated in a manner which support operational and technical requirements and scheduled deliveries.

Evaluate Enterprise Change Request (ECR) requirements and recommend technical solutions.

Identify risks and recommend corrective and preventative actions.

Present, support, and advise on proposed technical aspects of system changes to working groups and review boards, such as the ECWG, EMR, and CRB in support of baseline change decisions.

Perform engineering functional analysis and coordinate Risk Assessment Level of Test (RALoT) and Periodic Maintenance Update (PMU) packages.

Collaborate with 3rd-Party product providers for assigned systems.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related engineering discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years networkingexperience, with experience on DoD or Air Force acquisition programs desirable.
  • Must be able to work independently keeping pace in a busy work environment
  • Must have experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Candidate must have an active US security clearance
