Line managed the UK Digital Media dept: web designers and developers, and A/V content producers.The Digital Media team made various types of digital creative work for Digital Marketing in the Frontline and Catalogue Labels:
- web sites (MediaSurface CMS)
- Flash e-cards and HTML mailers for artist and genre mailshots
- WAP sites (using platform providers New Visions, and FlyTxt)
- online advertising (Video MPUs and syndication to TZ adserver)
- e-commerce (7Digital, ShopCreator)
- application development (php/MySQL, Touchscreen Terminals)
- widgets (plug-ins for social networking pages)
- integration of APIs (Amazon, Flickr, YouTube)
- A/V content for web streaming and podcasts, commercial DVD, Broadcast TV
The Digital Media dept also provided creative services to EMI Group (plc parent company), internal Specialist Markets depts (Licensing and Sync depts), Commercial and Business Development teams, the eCRM team, the Communications dept, and Executive.
Head Of Digital Projects
Project Management and overseeing of Digital Projects (e.g, eCRM, Website CMS, e-commerce, etc) for EMI Music UK, working under Global Head of Digital and SVP Digital UK. Role includes: production point of contact for Digital Marketing in the Labels, strategic input for the business, meeting new suppliers, establishing ‘preferred’ suppliers, ensuring development best practice, procurement (contracts/SLA), technical/creative consultancy for Business Development and Commercial Digital Teams.

In-house development made considerable cost savings, and also kept IP as EMI’s. 24 Broadband connected Touchscreens were installed in independent record stores in UK, with Infrastructure and Terminals provided by Inspired Broadcast Networks.
