The Leading Together Programme

NHS Professional – Application Form

Would you like to understand and demonstrate how lay partners can contribute meaningfully to the NHS?

Would you like to support sustainable change and move beyond tokenism towards lay representation and involvement?

If “YES”, then The Leading Together Programme may be for you!

Some information on the Leading Together Programme

This will not be the kind of programme where you’ll be sat back listening to people telling you what to do. We’ll be inviting you to think and talk about the concepts, try out some skills, reflect on your experience, test out your ideas and cooperate with others to undertake a project to make a difference in your community.

There will be a selection process for places, the criteria that will be used in this process are:

  • Demonstration of the level of support and commitment from the applicant for the Leading Together programme.
  • A clear statement of intent in working collaboratively with Lay Partners.
  • Commitment to attend all programme workshops.
  • An aspiration to make a positive contribution to change within the NHS.
  • Clear ideas on how to use the learning from the programme to create impact within their role, team and organisation.
