Joist and Rafter selection
Select a species and grade of lumber to use for the framing components. Indicate the selection of joist and rafter sizes and spacing by listing the data using the following format. Use the same species and grade and show five possible combinations for size and spacing of the framing members.
Record the live load and dead load values used in the selection of the floor joists, ceiling joists, and roof rafters above each table.
Mark the final selection of the floor joists, ceiling joists, and roof rafters.
Include a copy of the Span Data used for the floor joists, ceiling joists, and roof rafters selection .
