Lone Star Security & Safety Services is now hiring a Full-time Logistics/Payroll Coordinator in Avon, Colorado.

General Description:
To support company operations by organizing, monitoring and coordinating the movement of personnel and resources for Eagle and Summit counties. They shall ensure a wide range of administrative and logistical support functions including personnel management, procurement, vehicle movement management, employee/ welfare scheme but not limited to the daily support to the organization. They will also run payroll for all contracts in Eagle and Summit counties as well as overview and submission for the entire company. Extensive software skills are required, as well as Internet research abilities and strong communication skills.
Qualification Requirements:
1. Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
2. Ability to perform job tasks in an extremely professional manner, while providing exceptional customer service in a fast paced environment.
3. Previous administrative, HR and/or Payroll processing experience preferred.
4. Advanced computer skills.
5. Ability to pass a background check.
6. Provide credible references and I-9 Employment Eligibility Documentation (legal eligibility to work in the U.S.).
7. Valid CO driver's license and clear driving record.
Essential Job Functions:
Must have formal training in office procedures and use of office equipment. Must have the ability to communicate accurately and clearly both orally and in writing; pleasant telephone manner; able to "think on feet" when dealing with callers; customer service oriented "can do" approach to work. Knowledge of computers; specifically, experience in Microsoft Office is preferable. Must have superior organizational skills and accuracy. Excellent problem solving and people skills also required.
- Provide operational support to the field office, as well as advice on application of logistics management best practices, systems and procedures. Take initiative in management improvement for the logistic function
- Develop and execute logistics support policy, processes and methodologies to general benefit of all mission units
- Develop reports on material and personnel movements and various operational logistics problems
- Deciphering and inputting received contracts into operation planning software (SharePoint) to effectively coordinate and communicate operational statuses throughout the organization
- Accurate and timely scheduling and documentation of multiple types of contracts including Special Events, Semi Fixed/ Fixed contracts and emergency requests
- Accurate and timely inputting of information into the proper scheduling software for billing and payroll purposes
- Accurate and timely payroll submission as well as reporting of KPI’s and Manager’s billable time, OT reports and all other reports as requested by the finance department
- Send Shift Confirmations 24 hours prior to the scheduled shift to the appropriate officers and supervisors
- Document and follow up on all shift call offs and report weekly to the responsible Area Manager
- Create and maintain a 90 day events calendar and distribute to officers and staff on a weekly basis
- Communicate with all Lone Star Security officers and staff with any requested and or important information via phone calls, SMS messaging and email communication
- Manage and direct incoming phone calls to the proper departments
- All duties of the Eagle County office manager (maintaining supplies, cleanliness, etc.)
- Other related duties may be assigned

Interview Process:

Training:
Training will be conducted upon hire. Courses include Lone Star's Delta "On-Boarding" class and Charlie "Core Competencies" class. CPR, First Aid, AED instruction and certification will be included in these courses.
