1. Call to Order by Mila Simpson, secretary.
2. Minutes from the February meeting. First motion to approve by Janeen Love, second motion by Joe Budjos. Minutes were approved.

g. Volunteerism, Janeen Love, chair, No report. Her committee was thanked for the wonderful volunteer awards breakfast in April.

6. Announcements (each person introduced themselves):
· No HSC meeting in July. HSC picnic August 11, 11:30 AM at White Township Park. Agency directors and staff are all invited. We are looking for 5 agencies who wish to speak for about 5 minutes about their agency and their programs. Look in the e-news for more information.
· Joe explained that MH/MR will soon be changing their names to Behavioral and Developmental Programs.
· Steve from Drug and Alcohol Commission announced that their agency has taken over for services in Clarion. Also they hired a new CRS that will be working with the jail population.
· Jan announced that St. Andrews is having a car show on July 16.
· Kim form Hillsdale invited interested people to their Alzheimer’s support group.
· Michelle told about an Epilepsy workshop and a new support group in Indiana.
· The League of Women Voters is looking for new members and men are now welcome in their organization.
· Sandy announced a car seat safety check on June 11, 2011.

8. Program: The Community Connections Committee hosted. A panel of speakers from the faith-based community shared about their outreach programs. The following are the on the panel: Rev. Bruce Shannon of the Presbyterian Church of Marion; Doris McAnulty, Pastor’s Administrative Assistant from Grace United Methodist Church, Indiana;
Jim Froelicher, from the St. Vincent DePaul Store in Indiana; and
Joanna DePalma from Catholic Charities.
