All persons baptized with water & the Spirit in the Name of the Trinity, are invited to receive the Eucharist. Those who wish to only receive a blessing may cross their arms. It is perfectly acceptable to receive the Eucharist in only one kind (i.e. the Host), and then decline the chalice, crossing your arms.

Health Ministry JOURNEY to BETHLEHEM 2009 has logged a total of 2,129 miles as of 11/29. We’re passing between Svalbard, Norway, and Franz Josef Land. Very shortly, we’ll pickup 35 degrees, 14 minutes east longitude line & follow it into Bethlehem. Only 3,645 miles to go!. (See map in parish hall)! Remember! Turn in your miles each Sunday!
COMING: Bella Jean’s Christmas Get-Together Potlatch/Covered Dish Saturday, Dec. 19th, 4-8 PM. (Donations of food, door prizes, gifts, mandarin oranges, peanuts in the shell, individually wrapped candies, are welcomed & appreciated.
St. Matthew’s annual Christmas ADOPT-A-FAMILY Love, Inc.TREE is up in the parish hall. Choose an ornament(s) and bring the gift(s) and ornament attached to the Church by Sunday the 20th or to the Church Office this week. A gift wrapping party will be held @ 10:30 am on the 20th. THANK YOU to BRANDY BRICE for co-ordinating our Annual See’s Candies sale again this year. Thank You to others who had tables yesterday, too! There may be candies available to buy this morning.
CHRISTMAS LIGHTS & ORNAMENTS are being collected for Eagle and StevensVillage residents, who lost so much in the May floods this year. Donations may be brought to the Church Office this week for shipment.
The Vestry is open to suggestions for sharing the budgeted year-end $2,000 Outreach. Any ideas, contact a Vestry member.
