Quarter 3 Project

For this project, you are going to create a story with a fictional character and tell us a story about them. The fictional character can be yourself, a celebrity, a cartoon character, etc. Using the content we have learned we are able to talk about our characters, their surroundings, and things they normally do in life. On the back of this paper you will find the checklist of information you need for your project.

This assignment must be entirely in Spanish.

Do NOT use Google translator or your grade will result in a 0.

Make sure that you include ALL of the information required. ALL INFORMATION SHOULD BE IN COMPLETE SENTENCES.

You may use the computers to create a Powerpoint, Prezi, or any other website to complete this assignment. You may also do this on paper (I will not provide the paper). Don’t forget to use graphics and creativity with your project.

You are allowed to work with ONE partner (no exceptions). Based off of the projects we have done in the past, I HIGHLY suggest that you choose a partner who you can depend on. Please remember that BOTH of you should have access to your project. You may use Google Drive, Dropbox, e-mail, and a number of other resources to keep up with your project. “My partner has the project./ I don’t know my partner’s password to Dropbox” WILL result in late penalty points or a 0.

When you turn in your project you must turn in the following:

  • Your story in ENGLISH.
  • You story in SPANISH.
  • Your project (either in computer or paper – form)
  • The rubric (will be given on Wednesday)

Team Member Jobs:

  • Creation of the story in English
  • Translation of the story into Spanish
  • Creation of Powerpoint/Paper project

The due date for your project will be Thursday, March 16th 2017. In addition to your project, I will allow presentations on Thursday. It is not required to present your project and any student/group who opts to present their project will receive extra credit points on their project. The 1st 3 people willing to present will receive 15 points extra, meanwhile all other presenters will receive 10 points extra.
