“SPREAD THE SEED” Community Outreach Program
The “Spread the Seed” program is an initiative of the PA Sports Hall of Fame – Montco Chapter. Our goal is to provide support to local youth sports organizations by offering supplemental funding, up to $1,000, to non- profit sports organizations in Montgomery County.
Our goal is to support as many youth athletes as possible through this funding and to help their organizations reach their goals by helping to defray the costs of their operations.
What is the PA Sports Hall of Fame-Montco Chapter?
We are a non-profit organization founded to perpetuate the memory of athletes, male or female, who have brought lasting fame to Montgomery County and or the State of Pennsylvania through their athletic achievements. These individuals need to have been born, raised, worked or performed in Montgomery County in order to be considered for induction into the Montco Chapter Hall of Fame.
The Montco Chapter raises funds throughout the year through our annual celebrity golf outing as well as our annual induction ceremony. Some of our notable inductees include Joe Frazier, Mike Richter, Brad Scioli, Dick Shoulberg and Fran Crippen, to name a few of the many deserving athletes and coaches from Montgomery County.
