Today we are on pep rally schedule for the Saginaw High School to host music and arts festival, ‘High School Nation Tour’, a free, two-hour music and arts festival where students and can celebrate the arts
Just a reminder that starting Monday (today) you will be required to show your ID as payment at the Bistro and Cafeteria.You will also need your ID to come to the library during lunch and
for book check out.

Students - just a reminder that is a privilege to buy and enjoy Kona Ice on Wednesdays. Due to the increase in spills, messes and trash we will discontinue selling Kona Ice if this trend of trash and spills continues.
French Clubmeets on Tuesdays at 4:30- 5:00 pm in Room B106. Now under a new vibrant leadership, come and be part of an incredible international experience. You do not have to be a French student to participate.
The dues are $10 for the year and $15 for a club T-shirt if you wish to purchase one.

Charitable Crusaders Philanthropy Club-

Then join Charitable Crusaders, a non-profit club created by students to inspire and empower the youth and support financially disadvantaged people in need!
Join us Thursday, October 6th, 2016 from 4:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the SHS Library and visit Coach Craft's room before then in Room A203 to pick up a volunteer form.
Homecoming Dance Ticketsgo on sale Wednesday during lunches at the Rough Rider store. Pre-sale tickets are $20 a person or $30 a couple. These prices will go up as we get closer to the event so stop by and grab your tickets soon.
The Rough Rider store has signup sheets for our Zombie Fun Runto be held Tuesday, October 11th, to kick off Homecoming week – come get a signup sheet during lunches
HCTC Forensic Science Clubwill be starting up on Tuesday, October 4 at 4:45 in room A111 at HCTC. All students are welcome and club membership is free. We will discuss activities for the year, officers, and getting ready for CSI and Fingerprinting competitions.

You need to pay your Class dues! If you paid last year, the cost is $45, and if you didn't the cost is $90, split into a payment plan of $30 a month. The first payment is due September 29th.

PARKING STICKERS ARE NOW AVAILABLE
Students, if you plan on driving on campus this year you will need to stop by Student Services Center duringlunches and pick up your Parking Permit form.
You will need your Driver’s License and insurance card.
AND…..
If you do not have your SHS parking sticker on your car, a Parking Violation sticker will be put on your vehicle.
You may pick up your FREE parking sticker at the student services counter.

Spanish Clubmeets every Wednesday. Meeting times are 8:30 - 9:00 AM before school or 4:30 - 5:30PM after school. Currently, we are preparing for A Night of Culture hosted by the Spanish club and presented in November. If you can sing, dance, act, read poetry or just like to show off your talents and teach others about culture, please come to the Wednesday meetings to help us prepare. We accept acts in any language, including English.
PSAT/NMSQT
EMS ISD pays for all 10th graders to take the PSAT. Any 11th grader may take the PSAT for the National Merit Scholarship Qualifier Test (NMSQT) for the cost of $15.00. The PSAT is also offered to any 9th grader to participate for the cost of $15.00.
