Rules of Play Opening Day- RIGC CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP-Metamora Golf & CC
Holes
1.Par 4 OB on left up to the pond on the left---two-club lengths drop add a stroke; on the right is the range, all in play. If your ball is at rest anywhere on that hole and you come across a range ball, DO NOT HIT IT,,, it is consider a practice ball during play and is a two shot penalty. Just leave it or pick it up and put it in your cart.
2.Par 4 OB immediately on your left then as the cart past goes past the white tees, it turns red,—OB on immediate left, chose to drop or hit another from the tee, way you are hitting three. If in the red, two club lengths drop and one stroke penalty. All wooded area on right is in play—no red stakes. If you cannot find your ball, then RIGC lost ball comes into play, drop where you think the ball went into the wooded area, take a stroke penalty.
3.Par 5 woods on your left is OB and red stake, Take two club lengths drop and count one stroke. The hazard that crosses the fairway (150 yards out) is yellow and you may drop on the other side of that hazard if you wish with two club lengths or you can go back in line with the hole and drop, either discussion is one stroke penalty. If you enter the water that is directly in surrounding the green, then you will drop just before the cart path circle near the entrance to the green.
4.Par 3 standard play
5.Par 4 all in play, if ball rest under one of the fur trees, either move it as an unplayable and take the stroke penalty or try and play it.
6.Par 4 Hazard coming into the fairway, point of drop is at the point of the hazard on the fairway. Waterhazard in in the approach area---there is a drop on the other side of the bridge just behind the first bunker. If you go into the water on the right of the green---standard drop and penalty applies.
7.Par four OB down the left side, treat as lateral hazard, two-club lengths drop add a stroke.
8.Par three only OB on the far right and far left, if you go there, you be bad……………………..
9.Par fiveOB down the left side and far right. Treat as lateral hazard. Water in front of the green---there is a drop on the other side of the bridge near the large oak tree. One stroke penalty
10.Par five hazards crossing the fairway at 100 yards, you cannot drop on thepin side, must drop in line with the pin as far back as you want. Hazard woods down the left and the right on the 150 area, the left side is red stake so therefore you can hit out of there without grounding your club or you can take the two club length drop with a stroke penalty. The wooded are on the right is a playable area and handle it as a playable wooded area.
11.Par 4 water hazard in front of the tee box---there is a drop on the area where you enter the fairway in front of the red tees.
12.No hazards anywhere other than behind the green
13.Par 3 hazard in front, drop in front of the hazard
14.Par 5 water on the left 300 yards out and water on the right 175 out from the green. No other hazards
15.Par 4 OB on the right, OB on the left with the wooded area. You have the ability to do a unplayable and move it one club anyway but towards the hole…one stroke penalty. OB treat as lateral hazard. Water in front of the green starting at 100 yards… drop area on the other side of the bridge.
16.OB to the left and wooded area to the right with water at 175 from the green, There are no drop areas, drop with penalty,
17.Par 3 nothing alarming
18.Par 4 OB on the left, hazard across the fairway---drop on the pin side of the hazard, one stroke penalty
Special RIGC NOTE----you may move any rock, pebble, wood chip or something similar in the hazard area or sand trap if you feel your club will come into contact. Sand Trap, either rake the spot of the rocks or move the rocks,,, you must reposition the ball in the same manner it was sitting. NO PENALTY Fairway bunkers 11 and 12 are ground under repair.

Ifthere is a tie in any of the divisions there is still a one hold sudden death shoot out starting on the 18th from the tee boxes that are assigned to you division (i.e open is from the gold/blue: Senior from the BLUE and Masters from the Red)
IF THERE ARE ANY TIES IN THE OVERALL NET SCORE CHAMPIONSHIP-THE WINNER WILL BE DETERMINED BY THE SCORECARD NET SCORE GOING BACK FROM 18-17-16
- YOU MUST BE PRESENT TO ACCEPT ANY OF THE PAYOUTS. PLAYERS WHO LEAVE BEFORE THE COMPLETION OF THIS TOURNAMENT WILL FORFEIT ANY OF THERE WINNINGS.
