Noble Beast Vaccine Requirements!

For the safety of the dogs and puppies who attend any of our group classes, Noble Beast Dog Training requires the following vaccinations:

·  Distemper

o  Adult dogs must be current

o  Puppies must be current based on age – we will be looking for three vaccines by the time they are 18 weeks of age.

§  Ideally the Distemper/Parvo combo should be given at 8 weeks, 12 weeks, and 16 weeks. Any gap of 5 or more weeks is typically not ok. For example if a puppy got its 8 week shot but then had nothing at 13 weeks, this would leave the puppy at risk. Puppies are most vulnerable to Distemper/Parvo between 10 - 16 weeks of age.

This means you DO NOT have to wait for all 3 distemper vaccines to be completed before attending class!

·  Bordetella

o  Adult dogs and puppies must be current on Bordetella or a Bordetella Waiver can be signed in lieu of the vaccine. Please contact Noble Beast to request a Bordetella Waiver.

·  Rabies

o  Adult dogs and puppies over 18 weeks must be current

o  We will not look for the Rabies vaccine until your puppy is 18 weeks which means you can attend without the Rabies vaccine until your pup is 18 weeks.

We DO accept Bordetella Waivers, Titers, and/or Vet Vaccine Exemption Letters at all locations.

If your dog does not meet the vaccine requirements above, unfortunately you will not be able to attend class UNTIL the vaccine requirement is met. Also, please note that if your vaccinations are handwritten, the sticker from the vaccine bottles MUST be attached or we cannot accept them.

The exception to the handwritten vaccine requirement would be if it comes from a veterinarian, breeder, or rescue on official letterhead or with the organizations contact info included (listing the organization name, phone number, and email or website)

Please understand we have to follow the vaccination guidelines with no exceptions.

This is out of your trainer’s control and solely for the purpose of keeping all dogs and puppies safe from serious illnesses.
