Established by Congress in 2006, CDP is headquartered at the Uniformed Services University (USU) and supports a network of Deployment Behavioral Health Psychologists (DBHPs) at 11 Military Medical Centers. The CDP currently has about 50 employees whose work focuses on the development and delivery of effective education and training products to behavioral health professionals within and outside of DoD. CDP subject matter experts have contributed to the training and education of over 43,000 providers on topics including military culture, evidence-based psychotherapies, and clinical issues such as PTSD and depression among Service members and Veterans.
