This form is designed for (a) Greek NGOs that are interested in developing cooperation with NGOs and/or eligible entities from the Donor states (Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein) and (b) NGOs and other entities from the Donor states that are interested in developing cooperation with Greek NGOs. To provide Aid to our fellow humans during emergencies.
To confront all kind of natural and man-made disasters. \

All fellow humans in danger in the outdoors or after an earthquake/tsunami.

Volunteers Capacity Building, mainly by restructuring our training program.
Evolve the team’s foundation structures to make things function better and easier.
Strengthen relationships with the official authorities for Search and Rescue (SAR); Hellenic Fire Department Special Forces.
Organized a national earthquake drill for Urban SAR teams in Athens, with a huge success. (Nov.2012)
- What is approximately the annual budget of your organisation?
Based on 2013, estimate for 2014: €7K annual expenses (including rent) and €7-8K income. Our income isbased only on the financial support of: our members, in the form of annual subscriptions and sponsorships from sensitized citizens. And about €12K in material donations of special rescue equipment.
- Have you cooperated with partners from abroad? Ifyes, please, provide further information (e.g. organisation, project, etc.). How would you describe the partnership?
We cannot say partnership but we have cooperated for training with another volunteer Search and Rescue Team, Patter dale Mountain Rescue UK, and BASICS again from UK for First Aid training. It went very good and we are still in contact and sharing knowledge.
- What are you looking for in a potential partnership this time? Would you be interested in a specific project?
We need more special rescue equipment, and more funds to cover the expenses during training, real life incidents that we are requested to assist, and the monthly bills mandatory for the team.

Training procedures, and exercises with certifiedteamsso as to evolve and maybe get certified as well by a foreign organization. FYIin Greece no agency/organization certifies any volunteer in SAR.

Our team is made and run since 1999, by 100% volunteers. No one gets paid for their time and services; instead we “give” so as to help our fellow citizens in need.
