Ms. Pagliarulo (Pag-lee-a-rule-o) Ms. Lyles

Hints on How to Do Well in Class:

  1. Show up On Time and Prepared
  2. Pay Attention and Ask Questions
  3. Don’t Stress Out. Math is Fun!

Important Things You Should Know About:

Tardiness & Absences: These two issues are the most hurtful to your grades. It is very easy to fall behind in math and very hard to catch up. Also, if you miss class, you will be expected to make up any work/quiz/test on your own time or after school. If you know ahead of time that you will miss class, we can give you study sheets/assignments to keep you on track.

Exit Tickets/Math Journal: In the last ten minutes of most classes you will be given a quick assessment of the lesson. Additionally, you will need to write a small journal entry or answer a vocab question on what you learned that day. This helps immensely in understanding the material and being able to interpret and use “math language.” These exit tickets count as your quiz grades.

Please do not miss class.

Please do not take out your phone or IPOD.

Please do not be disruptive.

Please have respect for your fellow classmates, your teacher, and yourself.

Please do not give up! Math can be difficult but you can do it!
