REFUSAL TO CARRY OUT STATUTORY ASSESSMENT OR ASSESSMENT FOR AN EHCP (EDUCATION HEALTH AND CARE PLAN)
- This workshop is for parents who may have requested statutory assessment under the 1996 Education Act, or are about to request assessment for an EHCP (Education Health and Care Plan) under the new legislation which came into effect in September 2014.
- Participants are invited to bring along any papers relating to their children’s needs, as there will be time for questions and discussion.
- Places are limited to a maximum of ten participants because of the interactive nature of the workshop.
- During the course of the year, we also offer to tackle particular topics in greater detail.

APPEALING A STATEMENT OR AMENDED STATEMENT UNDER THE 1996 EDUCATION ACT
- This workshop is for parents whose children currently have statements which may need to be amended within the next two years.
- It is aimed at those people appealing a statement or amended statement drafted under the 1996 Education Act, and is not appropriate for those appealing an EHCP (Education Health and Care Plan).
- Participants are invited to bring along any papers relating to their children’s needs, as there will be time for questions and discussion.
- Places are limited to a maximum of ten participants because of the interactive nature of the workshop.
- During the course of the year we also offer to tackle particular topics in greater detail.

TRANSPORT TO
THE GATE HOUSE, HAMPTON HILL
The Gate House, 51 High Street, Hampton Hill, TW12 1NH
Nextto G.S. Keates, Funeral Directors, and almost opposite Bushy Park’s Hampton Hill Gate.
There are no parking facilities at The Gate House but there is free parking in the High Street after 09:30 and at all times in nearby streets. There are two car parks off the High Street: Taylor Close - 4 hours maximum costing £2.40, and free parking for 2 hours behind Sainsbury’s.We recommend that you use public transport where possible and allow plenty of time to get to us, particularly if buses and trains are operating a Saturday service.
Buses R68, R70 and 285 serve the office at the Holly Road stop nearest Hampton Hill Gate. These buses come from Richmond, Teddington and Fulwell train stations and can be caught in Twickenham following a 10-minute walk from the station.
Please note: Satnavs may take you to Hampton High Street, which is an extension of Hampton Hill High Street (A311) beyond the junction with Uxbridge Road (A312). See the map below. The office is shown at the red “A”.
