  1. Meeting called to order at 6:00 p.m.
  1. Approval of Minutes:

Ms. Linda Henley made a motion to accept the minutes of the August 18, 2014, meeting of the City Planning Commission. Mr. Steve Kulick seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously.

Special Permit Modification-Restaurant

Modify Site Plan

410 Pearl Street

410 Pearl Street, LLC (owner/applicant)

Commercial, Class A

Mr. Alan Willmes, at 119 Church Street in the Village of North Syracuse, New York, spoke to the Commission about the proposal, which consists of modifying a Special Permit for a Restaurant to waive the parking requirements on property situated at 410 Pearl Street.

No one spoke in favor of the proposal. Six people spoke in opposition to the proposal.

After further discussion and review, Mr. Steve Kulick made a motion to deny the request without prejudice. Ms. Linda Henley seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously.

2)PR-12-27 M1

Project Site Review Modification

Modify Elevations

823 North Townsend St and 212 Ash Street

Home Headquarters (owner/applicant)

Residential, Class B

Ms. Heather Schroeder, of Housing Visionsat 1201 East Fayette Street, spoke to the Commission about the proposal, which consists of renovating a historic building in order to establish nine dwelling units and on-site parking on property situated at 823 North Townsend Street and 212 Ash Street.

No one spoke in favor of or in opposition to the proposal.

After further discussion and review, Ms. Linda Henley made a motion to approve the request with a negative SEQR declaration. Mr. Steve Kulick seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously.

  1. Authorizations

Mr. Steve Kulick made a motion to authorize those cases listed, in addition to two cases for St. Joseph’s Hospital on Gifford Street, for Public Hearings on Monday, September 29, 2014. Ms. Linda Henley seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously.

  1. Adjournment

Ms. Linda Henley made a motion to adjourn at 7:00 p.m. Mr. Steve Kulick seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously.
