PERTH RACING TROPHY

UNCLE GLORY, a non-acceptor which had sustained a bruised near knee, will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.

BERNI DANCER, a non-acceptor which suffered dermatitis (skin allergy), will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.

MAKEMEAMILLION, a non-acceptor which had sustained an injury off fore-leg,

will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.

NINETYFIVE ROCKET, a non-acceptor which had sustained a bruised near fore fetlock, will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.

ASTROHEAT, a course scratching as it had sustained a nail prick off fore foot, will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.

SMALL TIGER (F Yap) was withdrawn by order of the Stewards at 1.45pm acting on veterinary advice that the gelding was lame off hind-leg. SMALL TIGER will be required to pass a test (1000M/vet) before being declared to race again.

Near the 1100M, LUCKY CAT (App S Shafrizal) steadied off the heels of ACE AMIGO (M Zairi) which shifted inwards. Jockey M Zairi was shown the video and warned to exercise more care when shifting ground in future.

A post-race veterinary examination of PADDY’S PARK (J Shankar) revealed that the gelding returned exhibiting signs of respiratory distress and as such will be required to pass a test (1000M/vet) before being declared to race again.

The Veterinary Surgeon reported that MAS DINERO (App CC Wong) returned cut into the off fore-leg and as such, will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.

The Veterinary Surgeon reported that HIGH PEAK (J Low) returned having cast its off fore plate.

Jockey K Eirwan, the rider of JUST BLESSED, reported that his mount was making respiratory noises. A post-race veterinary examination of JUST BLESSED revealed that the gelding returned broken-winded and as such will be referred to the home-based Veterinary Surgeon for a second opinion regarding corrective surgery and thereafter pass a test (1000M/vet) before being declared to race again.

GOLD COAST TURF CLUB TROPHY

UNITY STAR, a non-acceptor which had sustained a sore off fore fetlock, will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.

FREEHOLD, a non-acceptor which had sustained a bruised near knee, will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.

SCOTT FREE, a non-acceptor which suffered a sore back, will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.

Emergency acceptor, MARYLEBONE PARK, was withdrawn due to a capacity field.

DRAGON STAR (App S Shafrizal) was withdrawn by order of the Stewards at 2.25pm acting on veterinary advice that the gelding was lame near fore-leg. DRAGON STAR will be required to pass a test (1000M/vet) before being declared to race again.

App KP Lim, in the presence of his Acting Master, Trainer C Robert, was warned for failing to obtain a Certificate of Renewal after his 2-month suspension before resuming race riding as required under MRA Rule 48(8)(b).

FRENCH EXPRESS (M Leong) and HAPPY SURPRISER (HK Cheng) were slow into stride.

Near the 800M, SUPERFLY SISTER (M Razali) steadied and threw its head in the air when BARKER ROAD KID (App KK Chin) rolled in.

Near the 250M, KEY LARGOLD (M Zairi) and SUPERFLY SISTER steadied and shifted out in order to obtain clear running when GOOD TIMING (App CC Wong) shifted in under pressure. App CC Wong, in the presence of his Master, Trainer Dr SH Tan, was warned to stop and straighten his mount more quickly when it shifts ground in future.

At approximately the 200M, FRENCH EXPRESS had to steady and shift inwards in order to obtain clear running from behind TRIPLE KWAN which was giving ground.

At about the 100M, KEY LARGOLD shifted in under pressure and bumped SUPERFLY SISTER.

The saddle on HAPPY SURPRISER slipped backwards during the running.

Post-race veterinary examinations of TUXEDO URCHIN (F Yap) and HAPPY SURPRISER revealed no obvious abnormality.

A post-race veterinary examination of TRIPLE KWAN revealed that the gelding returned broken-winded and as such will be referred to the home-based Veterinary Surgeon for a second opinion regarding corrective surgery and thereafter pass a test (1000M/vet) before being declared to race again.

When questioned regarding the performance of BOMB CHA CHA, Jockey TM Wan stated that he was instructed to ride the horse midfield today because of the shorter distance compared to its previous start of 1400M and the track was rated “Soft” today as opposed to “Good” at its previous start. Jockey TM Wan further said that BOMB CHA CHA did not show the same speed as it did at its previous start and therefore ended up further back in the field than he anticipated. Jockey TM Wan reported that his mount was not striding out freely. A post-race veterinary examination of BOMB CHA CHA revealed that the gelding returned broken-winded and as such, will be referred to the home-based Veterinary Surgeon for a second opinion regarding corrective surgery and thereafter pass a test (1000M/vet) before being declared to race again.

DON’TWASTEMYTIME, a non-acceptor which was suffering from fever, will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.

DAVID DYNASTY, a non-acceptor which had sustained a bruised off fore cannon, will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.

NO TIME TO WAIT, a non-acceptor which had sustained a bruised off fore fetlock, will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.

On jumping, PRERICH (F Yap) was crowded for room between PERFECT PREDATOR (App WT Chung) which jumped awkwardly outwards, and EASTERN KING (J Shankar) which jumped awkwardly inwards.

HERE COMES THUNDER (App AK Lim) and WONDERFUL OCEAN (App CT Lee) were slowly away.

The Veterinary Surgeon reported that WONDERFUL OCEAN and CIZEN PURE (App CC Wong) both returned exhibiting signs of respiratory distress and as such will be required to pass a test (1000M/vet) before being declared to race again.

Post-race veterinary examinations of PRERICH, PERFECT PREDATOR, EASTERN KING and SUPREME SASSO (K Eirwan) revealed no obvious abnormality. PRERICH, which raced poorly, will be required to pass a test (1000M/vet) before being declared to race again.

RECORD TIME, a non-acceptor which had sustained a bruised off fore fetlock, will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.

EL JEYA, a non-acceptor which suffered a sore back, will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.

GHOST HEARTED, a course scratching as it was lame off fore fetlock, will be required to pass a test (1000M/vet) before being declared to race again.

HALIM’S GIFT, a course scratching as it had sustained bruised both fore fetlock, will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.

KENDARY, a course scratching as it had sustained bruised off fore heel bulb, will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.

HITCHHIKER, D’ULTIMATE KEEPER and SI BRAVO, which were down 23kgs, 26kgs and 20kgs in body weight respectively since their last runs, were checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and were passed fit to start.

SI BRAVO (App WK Lee) jumped awkwardly inwards.

D’ULTIMATE KEEPER (M Zairi) fly-jumped and was slow into stride.

Near the 250M, SPEEDY TIGER (F Yap) steadied and shifted out in order to get clear running from behind MONEY NOT ENOUGH (App CK Ng) which rolled in.

Post-race veterinary examinations of TRY THE CHANCE (J De Souza), SI BRAVO and MONEY NOT ENOUGH revealed no obvious abnormality

A post-race veterinary examination of THE GAZETTE (S Salee) revealed that the gelding returned exhibiting signs of respiratory distress and as such will be required to pass a test (1000M/vet) before being declared to race again.

The Veterinary Surgeon reported that SAPPHIRE STAR (J Shankar) returned broken-winded and as such will be referred to the home-based Veterinary Surgeon for a second opinion on corrective surgery and thereafter pass a test (1000M/vet) before being declared to race again.

Acting on veterinary advice that PISCES JET (J Chuah) was displaying abnormal behavior behind the barriers, the Stewards ordered its withdrawal at 4.52pm and the gelding was impounded.

KENNY (J De Souza) showed no early pace despite being urged along.

POWER BALL (HS Gill) raced greenly in the home straight, obliging its rider to stop and straighten his mount on numerous occasions.

A post-race veterinary examination of KENNY revealed no obvious abnormality.

LITTLE BUT FIERCE, a non-acceptor which had sustained a bruised near knee, will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.

GET THE LOTSKI, a non-acceptor which had sustained a sore back, will be required to pass a veterinary examination before being declared to race again.

PAST IMPERFECT, which was up 19kgs and MY SWALLOW, which was down 16kgs in body weight since their last runs, were checked by the Club Veterinary Surgeon prior to the race and were passed fit to start.

GOOD MEANING (F Yap) was slowly away and thereafter showed no early pace despite being urged along.

Post-race veterinary examinations of PAST IMPERFECT (App KC WONG), SAMURAI PHOENIX (S Salee), NEYMAR (Y Aify), ALL GOOD (HK Cheng) and BERCHAM (Alex Chew) revealed no obvious abnormality. ALL GOOD, which raced poorly, will be required to pass a test (1000M/vet) before being declared to race again.

When questioned regarding the improved performance of CIZEN GIFT (K Eirwan), Trainer Dr SH Tan stated that CIZEN GIFT was freshened up after its disappointing performance last start and appreciated the softer track today and he expected the gelding to run a fair race. His explanation was noted and his attention was drawn to the rules regarding in-and-out running.

Near the 1400M, TURNINGOLD (App CC Wong) steadied off the heels of THE SUNBELT (App AM Aizat).

The saddle on SHINING SUPREME (App S Shafrizal) slipped sideways during the running.
