Scholarship Opportunities

Cadet Flight Indoctrination Program

The Cadet Flight Indoctrination Program sponsors a flight training program for those interested in pursuing a career in aviation, particularly military. You must take an FAA flight physical before being eligible for this program. Applications for this program are in the counseling office and due May 20.

SACAC Extend the Dream Scholarship

The Southern Association for College Admission Counseling offers a $1,000 nonrenewable scholarship for seniors who have a minimum 2.75 GPA, have financial need, and demonstrate a commitment to community service, social justice issues, and/or leadership qualities. To be considered for this scholarship, please pick up an application in the counseling office. Application deadline is May 15.

Abbot and Fenner Scholarship

JD CALLING (Samford University)

Current sophomores and juniors interested in careers in the legal field are invited to participate in a four day residential workshop from June 24-27 at Samford University. The University of Alabama is accepting applications from 10th-12th grade students for the Early College program. Students may be eligible for a summer on campus residential experience. Duke University is now accepting applications for their summer programs for High School Students. Current 10th or 11th grade students can participate in Duke University’s Summer College for High School Students, a four-week, credit-bearing program offered by Duke University.
