NATIONAL FLIGHT ACADEMY, PENSACOLA, FLORIDA is seeking an experienced Sales Representative/Manager.
The National Flight Academy’s Sales Manager primary responsibility is for all sales programs related to the Flight Academy’s flagship Ambition’s programs. Programs include: Deployments, Cruises, Adventures and Embarks (adult programs & venues). The Sales Manager is also directly responsible for filling available seats with participants for the various programs. The Sales Manager will have experience in managing budgets, utilizing performance metrics and business processes.
Be familiar with the National Flight Academy’s mission and vision and strategic goals as defined by the Naval Aviation Museum Foundation.
Be familiar with all Ambition program offerings, including development opportunities for sponsor and partnerships.
Follow up and renew existing National Flight Academy business account relationships.
Build and establish new accounts by making phone calls and/or visits to potential sales outlets.
Prepare and deliver sales presentations to a variety of potential accounts.
Keep senior management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual demographic analyses.
Monitors competition by benchmarking similar facilities and gathering current marketplace information on pricing, program offerings and student capacity.
Generates revenue by developing market potential through forecasting, lead generation, qualification, and closing sales.
Closes sales by building rapport with potential account; explaining all facets of program offerings at the National Flight Academy by showing clients advantages of sponsor and partnerships, overcoming objections and preparing contracts.
Contributes information to market strategy by monitoring competitive products and reactions from sponsors, partners and individuals
Must possess outstandingcommunication and presentation skills. Proven track record of developing client relationships and ability to negotiate. Sales Manager must have prospecting skills and ability to meet sales goals. The Sales Manager should be creative. Computer skills must include Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook. “SalesForce.com”, donor and research software proficiency a plus. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently. Organized. Attention to detail.
Office Environment, usually Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with some evenings, weekend work may be required. Travel required.
