JOB TITLEPRODUCTION ADMINISTRATOR (Part-time)
RESPONSIBLE TOHEAD OF PRODUCTION
RESPONSIBLE FOR
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Production Administration
- Personnel
These responsibilities involve a number of key activities as outlined below:
Production Administration
- To calculate Stage Management and actor timesheets
- To record and manage the production department’s annualised hours records
- To reconcile and process petty cash claims and credit card balances
- To carry out budget administration, invoices (processing and queries) & expense claims
- To attend as minute taker at Health & Safety meetings
Personnel
- To prepare Stage Management contracts.
- To provide support for the Head of Production, Executive Director and Production heads of department with personnel related matters, recruitment, induction, holiday and staff card requests.
General
- To always act in the best interests of Salisbury Playhouse
- To take positive action to promote Equal Opportunities in all aspects of the work of Salisbury Playhouse
- To agree to abide by Salisbury Playhouse policies such as Health and Safety, Safeguarding etc
- To maintain confidentiality in all areas relating to Salisbury Playhouse

CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION
Essential
- Computer literacy (Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet)
- Administration experience (wages, timesheets, annualised hours contracts)
- Experience of working with industry agreements (BECTU / EQUITY)

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Salary:£17,139 per annum pro rata (£8.24 per hour)
Hours of Work:16 hours per week (normally Monday and Tuesday)
Holiday:28 days annual leave per year pro rata, eight of which must be taken on Bank and public holidays, although you may be required to work on a Bank or public holiday in which case a day off in lieu will be given.
Probation Period:Three months, during which notice of one week can be given on either side.
Notice Period:Following completion of a successful probationary period, the notice period is four weeks.
Pension:The Playhouse offers a group personal pension whereby contributions can be deducted from salary if requested and is currently matched by the Playhouse up to 1.5% of salary.
The Playhouse is legally obliged to auto-enrol all eligible employees into this scheme, although the employee has the right to ‘opt out’.
