SAFY Human Resources team!

SAFYis searching for aHR Assistantto work as a part of the Human Resources Department in Delphos, OH. Primary responsibilities are to track and monitor the time keeping records for submittal to payroll on a bi-weekly basis, as well as provide administrative support to the Human Resources department. This will include monitoring the receipt of required personnel file documentation, updating the employee data base and distributing appropriate communication to staff.

This is accomplished through the following:

Time Keeping System

  • Track and monitor the time keeping records for submittal to payroll on a bi-weekly basis. This includes assuring that all hours are submitted timely, reviewed for accuracy, and summarized into appropriate reports for our records.
  • Maintain time keeping system. This will include entering schedules annually, processing change of status accordingly, and answering all time keeping related questions that are received by ccount.

Database Entry

  • Input new hire information, changes of status and address changes in all appropriate HRIS, notify applicable departments, such as payroll, MIS, training, etc. of appropriate changes and prepare letters of such changes to staff.
  • Data entry in the company database related to payroll. This includes taxes (local, state, and federal), direct deposit information, benefit deductions, and the separation of employees once payroll is complete, once payroll has been processed by finance process any changes/separations in GP.

Compliance/Reporting

  • Conduct Annual Driving Record checks
  • Prepare personnel files for new hires and monitor the receipt of all required personnel file documentation. Oversee the compliance of the personnel files and assist with audits when needed.
  • Prepare reports as required. This includes recurring reports, such as, test expiration, evaluation expiration, supervision, roster, birthday/anniversary, tier report, auto insurance, Department of Labor statistics, along with any other report as requested.

Education Requirements:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.
  • Associate Degree in Human Resources or related field, preferred.

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of three years of demonstrated human resource experience is required if no degree.

Skill Set:

  • Use resolution skills to demonstrate effective problem solving
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills (oral and written)
  • Strong organizational skills to prioritize workload
  • Operate a computer with Microsoft Office, other software, agency databases and ELearning systems
