Terms and Conditions Addendum: The Roger Goode Show’s Got Talent

a)  Submissions for The Roger Goode Show’s Got Talent open on 1 January 2016 and close on 14 January 2016 at 16h00.

b)  Winners will be announced on The Roger Goode Show on Friday, 8 January and Friday, 15 January 2016.

c)  To enter, contestants must submit an audio clip or a video clip of their talent. Audio and video clips must not exceed 5MB.

d)  The winners will be selected by The Roger Goode Show and/or producers of the show. Selection of the winners is final and no correspondence will be entered into. All entrants agree to not challenge or appeal such decisions.

e)  The prize includes:

  1. DJ Sound Equipment for the party
  2. Beverages
  3. Refreshments (Finger foods)
  4. 3 x 1 Hour DJ Sets – Roger Goode, Pascal&Pearce and Ryan the DJ
  5. 5FM Events Co-ordinator on site to oversee running of the event

f)  The prize excludes anything not detailed in the prize description.

g)  The Roger Goode Show’s Got Talent competition is for entertainment purposes only and does not constitute an interview or employment opportunity with 5FM or the SABC.

h)  Entrants enter this competition of their own free will. By entering, all entrants confirm that they have the legal capacity to enter the competition.

i)  Winners will be responsible for acquiring any necessary permission for 5FM to host a party at their residence and inform 5FM of any restrictions timeously.

j)  Entrants grant 5FM an irrevocable performer’s release and state that 5FM may photograph, film, record, edit, broadcast, re-broadcast, publish or communicate to the public the entrant’s submission and any audio or video from the party at the winner’s house without remuneration. 5FM shall therefore be entitled to use and license others to use such contributions, in the whole or in part, by all means and by all media, manner and formats whether now known or hereafter invented throughout the world and in perpetuity.

k)  All entrants agree not to engage in any activities that violate any law, offend against public morals or bring 5FM or the SABC into disrepute in any way.

l)  5FM and the SABC shall not be held liable for any damage or loss arising out of the contestant’s entry or participation in the competition including prize redemption.

m)  All entrants indemnify 5FM/SABC, their subsidiary and affiliated companies, their officers, agents, directors and employees against any costs or damages (including consequential damages and pure economic loss) that may be incurred whether during participation in this competition or during prize redemption.

n)  Should 5FM decide, in their own discretion, not to proceed with the Roger Goode Show’s Got Talent, for any reason whatsoever, 5FM may in their sole discretion elect to terminate this competition without compensation to the entrant.

o)  Should the entrant breach any of these terms, 5FM may disqualify the entrant at any stage of the contest, without compensation, as an entrant, contestant or winner of the competition.

p)  By entering the competition, all entrants understand and accept these terms and conditions.

q)  5FM will contact winners telephonically to make prize arrangements.
