Title:Administrative Pastor

Position Overview:
The Administrative Pastor supports the Senior Pastor so the mission of Woodburn Missionary Church is effectively accomplished. The Administrative Pastor is primarily responsible for providing operational oversight and management of the Woodburn Missionary Church ministries, missions, facilities and its operation as a 501(c)(3) Not-for-Profit organization. This includes managing the daily activities and resource allocation necessary for the delivery and continuation of church ministries and functions.
Essential Responsibilities Include:
- Implementing the vision of the church by coordinating and organizing programs to accomplish established goals and objectives in collaboration with the Senior Pastor.
- Providing oversight to the Woodburn Missionary Church Corporate Calendar.
- Meeting with the Senior Pastor on a regular basis to update him about all financial, personnel and administrative matterswithin the church.
- Overseeing all day-to-day activities and operational policies of Woodburn Missionary Church.
- Maintaining up-to-date copies of church by-laws, standing policies, staff handbook and minutes from appropriate leadership meetings.
- Assisting pastoral staff with obtaining and managing resources necessary for ministry programs/projects.
- Recruiting volunteers and securing facilities and/or materials
- Supporting ministry leadership to ensure the desired outcomes are achieved.
- Facilitating and managing the annual budgetary process and overseeing the preparation of regularly scheduled financial reports.
- Ensuring annual financial goals and objectives are achieved.
- Collaborating with staff to ensure budgetary disciplines are followed.
- Collaborating with the Senior Pastor on strategic and long range planning activities.
- Establishing and maintaining key performance measures that provide the Senior Pastor and church staff with meaningful visibility of the effectiveness of all functional areas of the church.
- Preparing the annual ministry report for the congregation
- Managing, maintaining and safeguarding the church facilities and assets.
- Overseeing the grounds and building
- Coordinating the church facility usage
- Managing access to building
- Overseeing church Trustees
- Managing the communicationsand marketing of the church such as weekly bulletins and inserts, announcements, social media and press releases, web site, congregational letters, etc.
- Sharing in pastoral functions according to the person’s giftedness
- Performing other duties as may be requested by the Senior Pastor
Qualifications and Expectations:
- A current and growing commitment to Jesus Christ
- A willingness to serve alongside the Senior Pastor
- A gift of leadership
- A passion for team building and mentoring teams & others
- Possess the qualities stated in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:7-9
- Experience in administration and operational management and effective organizational leadership and delegation skills
- An ability to lead, organize and administer mission teams.
- To become an active member of Woodburn Missionary Church family and community.
- Excellent verbal, written & interpersonal communication skills
- College degree preferred, advanced studies a plus
