I, LISA ANNETTE ARNOLD, acting in accordance with the delegation of powers and functions to me under section A4 of the Defence Enterprise Agreement 2017-2020 (DEA) by the Secretary to the Department of Defence, hereby determine the conditions of employment for employees as set out below.2
/Overtime meal allowance
I determine under paragraph E10.21 of DEA that the rate of overtime meal allowance is $29.40.3
/Meals and incidentals for travel assistance
I determine under paragraph H1.4 of DEA that the rates for meals and incidentals for travel are the rates listed at Schedule A.

/Rent ceiling for the temporary accommodation allowance component of relocation assistance
I determine under section H2.7 of DEA that the prescribed rates of rent ceilings, used in calculating the temporary accommodation allowance component of relocation assistance are set out in the table in Schedule B.5
/Assistance for the temporary accommodation allowance component of relocation assistance
I determine under section H2.7 of DEA that the rate of assistance for the temporary accommodation allowance component of relocation assistance is the cost of the accommodation less an amount paid by the employee in Schedule C, subject to the following conditions.a. / The amounts in the table of Part 1 of Schedule C apply if the employee is temporarily boarding in a hotel, motel or similar establishment.
b. / The amounts in the table of Part 2 of Schedule C apply if the employee is temporarily renting accommodation.

/Meals and incidentals component of relocation assistance
I determine under paragraph H2.7 of DEA that the rates of meals and incidentals components of the temporary accommodation allowance element of relocation assistance are listed at Schedule D.7
/Pet relocation allowancecomponent of relocation assistance
I determine under paragraph H2.7 of DEA the amount that can be reimbursed for pet relocation is a maximum of $186 per removal.8
/Disturbance allowancecomponent of relocation assistance
