How Students Work Through GradPoint Courses

·  Each GradPoint course is broken down into study plans (units).

·  Each study plan begins with a pre-test, which assesses your knowledge of particular curriculum.

·  After you take a pre-test, you will receive a score. If the score is 80% or above, you will automatically move on to the next study plan. You should alert the instructor if the program does not move you on.

·  If you score less than 80% on the pre-test, you will be assigned lessons based on objectives not mastered on the pre-test.

·  As you work through lessons, you must take notes, which can be used on lesson quizzes.

·  After you complete all of the required lessons within a study plan, you will take a post-test. You may use all of your notes for the post-test.

·  If you score 70% or above on a post-test, you will be moved on to the next study plan. If the program does not move you forward, alert the instructor.

·  If you score less than 70% on your first attempt at a post-test, you will have a second chance to achieve a 70%. Please alert the instructor when you score below a 70% on a post-test attempt. The instructor can go over your test with you if you’d like.

·  If you score less than 70% on your second attempt at a post-test, you will be assigned lessons to review. Add to/clarify your notes as you review. Ask the instructor for assistance if you need it.

·  After assigned lessons are reviewed, you will attempt the post-test for a third, and final, time. After the third attempt, you will be moved on to the next study plan no matter what you score.

·  Course credit will be obtained after you complete all of your required GradPoint study plans. Your final average will be comprised of your quiz and tests scores and your notebook grade.
