Ducab celebrates“UAE Flag Day”
Dubai, UAE; November3, 2016: Ducab,the UAE-based leading manufacturer of high-quality cables and cabling products owned equally by Investment Corporation Dubai (ICD) and Abu Dhabi’s Senaat, hosted a special ceremony to celebrate the “UAE Flag Day” on Thursday, 3rd November. The celebrations honor the national flag of the UAE as a part of a nationwide initiative led by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai.
Ducab’s vibrant celebrations at the Jebel Ali factory was attended by a number of members of Ducab’s management includingDr. Ahmad Bin Hassan Al Shaikh, Chairman of Ducab, Khaled Nasser Lootah, Board Member of Ducaband many other department heads and employees in addition to Ali Al-Saloom, the Emirati Cultural Consultant.
On this occasion, Dr. Ahmad Bin Hassan Al Shaikh, Chairman of Ducab said: "The national flag is a symbol of greatpride and unity. We delight in coming together to celebrate UAE Flag Day as it reaffirms our allegiance to our great country and wise leadership. Being a proud local company rooted in our national identity, we are committed to the Emiratisation vision of our rulers and are grateful for the opportunity to represent the nation globally with our products and services.”
Celebrations began earlier this morning at a national gathering at Jebel Ali Golf Resortand Spa attended by prominent representatives from the company led by Dr. Ahmad Bin Hassan Al Shaikh andKhaled Nasser Lootah. The gathering also witnessed the participation of students who are recipients of Ducab scholarships and an interactive Q&A session on recent developments in the country.
