GRADING POLICY:

Your course grade will be calculated on a point system. Each assignment

will be worth a stated number of points. At the end of the grading period, the total

number of points that could have been earned will be divided by the total of your accumulated points to determine your quarter grade. For example, if there were a

possible 800 points for the marking period and a student earned 750 points, the

students grade would be 94 (750/800= 94).

Effective time management is a very important life skill. To reinforce this

concept, homework must be complete and on time to be eligible for full credit. Late assignments handed in by the next class day will receive ¾ credit. Any assignment

handed in after that time will receive no more than ½ credit, but should still be completed

so as not to jeopardize the notebook grade and to develop skills needed for both unit and final evaluations.
