CATEGORY / ESSENTIAL / DESIRABLEQUALIFICATIONS / NVQ 3 in care or equivalent or other relevant qualification in the field of health/social care.
Related teaching or nursing certificate/qualification.
KNOWLEDGE / Individual programme planning.
Principles and practice of risk assessing and implementing of appropriate strategies.
Principles of non-aversive behaviour strategies.
Principles of supporting people with learning disabilities in the community.
Basic understanding of Autism.

EXPERIENCE / Minimum three years of working within a Residential Care or Day Dare Provision, supporting people with learning difficulties/disability/Autism/ challenging behaviour. / .
