Luxury in a small car – “Jazz can be featured up like a little Luxury Euro”

With fuel prices destined to remain forever high downsizing to a luxury Jazz makes for a sensible choice with few compromises.

Available in black leather with detailing in red stitching, perforated squabs and with an embossed Jazz logo your little “Luxury Euro” is a delightful place to be. Then add standard luxury features such as climate control air conditioning, an advanced audio system, illuminated vanity mirrors, reading lights, glove box lights, 10 drink holders and even more storage places than you realised you needed. On the audio you can dial up your playlists from your portable MP3 player, i-Pod or memory stick through the convenient USB jack you can scroll through the tracks, albums or artists appearing on the audio screen.

Without reaching from the standard leather bound steering wheel at your finger tips are controls for the audio and cruise control (Sport models only) previously only found in vehicles several classes above.

Even the small things take on a luxury feel in the new Jazz from the spring damped hand grabs, the fold down coat hook, the simplicity of operation of the on board trip-computer, to the cleverness of the automatic operation of the rear wiper when reversing.

With drive by wire throttle control, not only will you find better vehicle control, but the automatic gear changes take on a smoothness that previously engineers could only achieve in large cars.

With an array of safety features now standard on the Jazz but previously only available in luxury cars, buying small makes real sense. Safety includes fitment of curtain airbags as standard and also the introduction of Honda’s Advanced Compatibility Engineering (ACE) that better restrains intrusions from other vehicles over a wider range of impact heights. This provides better passenger protection in an accident. In a frontal offset collision the curtain airbags may also be deployed if the vehicle skews, so preventing head injuries. The Jazz also includes ABS, EBD and Emergency Brake Assist for more controlled stopping.

The Sport models add additional luxury items with 16” alloy wheels, security alarm, fog lights, sports bumpers and body skirts, and the Tempo adds a special gear knob and distinctive alloy wheels amongst other great features.
