Following the success of our Vintage and Design Fairs at Kendal Town Hall, we are once again ploughing a furrow back to this year’s ‘Country Fest’. We are really excited to be invited again to this fantastic two-day event in the beautiful Cumbrian countryside.

Country Fest last year received over 15,000 visitors; it gives a real taste of the countryside and our beautiful environment, celebrating the quality of the superb independent food, drink and crafts people this area has to offer, a stunner!!

Held at the county showground with plenty of free parking, the perfect venue to host beautiful stalls of Vintage and Retro fashion, wedding styling, textiles, jewellery, home-wares, vintage-inspired design, furniture and a chance to meet the artists ….we would like to promote the amazing artisans in this area, all designing, producing, making and selling their products locally, all with a vintage twist!!!

We had some exciting new exhibitors last year, ‘Wilde & Romantic’ styling our event for us and showcasing their beautiful Vintage china, glassware and props. ‘A Very Vintage Affair’ brought along their vintage photo booth & dressing up box! It was a great success. Outside was ‘Glenda’ a stylish retro Marylyn Monroe vintage caravan gloriously transformed into a kitsch hair and powder room and to keep her company was ‘ Wanda & Co’ the beautifully restored VW camper van. Not to forget the truly fantastic mix of Vintage homewares, fashion, styling and design brought to us by our lovely exhibitors yet again, making it a very special place to find that unique vintage or local designer- made gift…. And the ‘icing on the cake’ our fabulous Vintage tea room organised by ‘The Vintage Village Hall’ selling all manner of ‘delicious delectables’.

What we can offer

·  3 sizes of space to choose in a traditional Grassed marquee

8’ Frontage x 8’ depth.

12’ Frontage x 8’ depth.

16’ Frontage x 8’ depth

·  6’ Trestle table [at an additional cost of £3.00 each]

·  Patrolling overnight security will be provided Friday 2nd and Saturday 3rd June

·  Listing in Wesmorland Agricultural Society website, entry in Country Fest Event Guide, plus our own promotion.

·  3 Exhibitor passes valid for the weekend [additional passes available at £4.25 + vat] and 2 vehicle passes for dedicated exhibitor vehicle parking area.

·  We also have some space outside the marquee that could be used for a Vintage Caravan etc.!!! Any fab ideas welcome to make the event even more special.

·  Plenty of time on the Friday for setting up [11am -5pm] or from 8am – 9.30am on Saturday morning.

·  Free overnight camping, booking required please tel. 015395 67804. On Saturday Night at the Country Fest Showfield, Beer & Live music from ‘Twentyfourseven’ from 7.30pm

Application for Space

All applications shall be submitted on the appropriate form and entries received in any other way will not be acceptable. The application form and the Risk and Fire Risk Assessment Forms, must be signed by the Exhibitor, or his/her representative, and the signature on the forms shall be deemed to be the acceptance by the Exhibitor of these rules and regulations and his/her agreement to be bound thereby. In applying for space the Exhibitor is expected to attend for the duration of Country Fest ie Saturday 10.00am - 5.00pm and Sunday 10.00am - 4.00pm.

Please ensure you have public liability insurance

The spaces are limited for this event so the sooner you get your application in the better!
