6.1  IHTSDO

6.1.1  Variation of SNOMED CT Affiliate License Agreement

Wayne reports that he heard back from Jane regarding the upcoming meeting with the Affiliates. This is to remind affiliates in non-member countries that they need to arrange a license with IHTSDO and provide some sort of reporting. I understand Jane and Karen will be preparing a fact sheet on this which HTA can review.

Jane points out that HTA should not publish the FSN and textual terms for a free subset until (1) the new HL7-IHTSDO agreement is approved by both parties (hopefully right after the WGM) and the free set has been defined. A licensing agreement will specify this. Jane says a similar agreement has been published for DICOM and can be found on the IHTSDO website.

Project 1169 - Vocabulary Mining Tool - previous Vocabulary WG project - Vocabulary WG request movement to HTA . 947 project exists - this is repetition.

PSS updates to be done by Tooling with Vocabulary.

In V2 Table 0291 Subtype of referenced data there were found three codes not inIana.In a meeting with the table project InM agreed to forward a request to HTA to have the following added toIana.This will allow us to deprecate HL7 Table 0291 and instead refer toaexternal code system.

9  Publishing

9.1  Inclusion of maps in publications

9.2  Current and future publishing of external vocabulary content

·  - we need to publish a policy that we publish value set definitions but not the actual content of external terminologies. There is a need for a consistent policy across the organization.

Further work needed to develop this policy.

Ted to prepare a list of issues associated with publishing for HTA to review at the Face to Face meeting. Heather to hassle Ted to assist him to do it.
