1. Trees planted in 2012/2013

Target / 1300
Trees planted / 1249

Of these 158 are replacements for trees lost from streets and in parks and 186 are adopted from the Cabot Circus development.

In addition to enhancing parks and green spaces with new trees and continuing to replace lost street trees, we have engaged the Neighbourhood Partnerships in making decisions around the tree planting programme in parks. This has resulted in TreePlans being created for 12 parks around the city as selected by the Neighbourhood Partnerships. Of these 7 have been completed and the others are in progress.

As part of the new TreeBristol – Streets projects we have planted nearly 400 trees, in grass verges on streets in areas of high social deprivation and low tree canopy cover.
