Installation Services:

COMSOL network installation services provide the full range of infrastructure resources to plan, build and commission communications networks throughout Ireland. COMSOL has been active in this market since the mid-1990s and has gained extensive experience in all elements of telecommunication networks.

COMSOL offer installation services to fixed and mobile network operators throughout Ireland.

These services include:

·  Turnkey solutions for antenna support structures (Freestanding, Rooftop, Greenfield and Temporary structures)

·  The installation and testing Feeder cables and wave guides

·  The installation and testing of antennae, amplifiers and filters

·  Installation and testing of Microwave radio systems SDH and PDH, point to point and point to multipoint systems.

·  Installation of Aircraft Warning Lights

·  AC and DC power system installation and integration into AC power distribution boards.

·  Installation of Health and Safety systems for working on open steel/roofs.

·  Civil works solutions (site fencing, comms room installations)

·  Base station equipment installation and termination of antenna feeder and RF cables.

·  Internal radio and antenna solutions within commercial, industrial and recreational developments.

·  Installation of Transmission racks and equipment

·  Cable management systems including the supply, installation and weathering of ROXTEC ope plates.

·  Installation of Lightning Protection systems in accordance with EU Standards

·  Testing and documentation of all radio installations.

Commissioning Services:

COMSOL is comprised of a group of highly trained personnel, competent in commissioning of the following:

·  Senior riggers with years of experience working on Vodafone/ eircom/RTE/ESB/BT and other mobile radio networks

·  Qualified civil engineer consultancy

·  Qualified electricians

·  Base Transceiver Station installations (Nokia/ Ericsson/Fujitsu)

·  Rigging of Elliott Mobile cellsite erection

·  Rigging of Strumec Versatower erection

·  Microwave radio systems ( PDH systems, SDH systems, Point to multipoint solutions/micro cell solutions)

·  AC and DC power installations.

COMSOL also offers the following services:

·  Line of Sight surveys.

Procurement and Logistical Support:

COMSOL offers logistics material supply services as a stand-alone package or as part of an extended installation services contract.

Our package includes:

·  Materials procurement

·  Storage and stock management of materials

·  Logistics service for distribution of materials to site

COMSOL currently manages material supply contracts for several mobile network operators and other clients.

Some key features of these services are:

·  Cost savings through the bulk buying of materials, which are passed to the client.

·  Stock held at stores facilities, providing nation-wide coverage and fast delivery to site.

·  Materials delivered on a site-specific and timed basis.

·  Computerised tracking and billing systems providing clients with tractability of materials, ensuring the right equipment is installed each time.

Maintenance Services:

COMSOL offers a complete range of maintenance services on mobile network and broadcast communication structures.

These maintenance services include:

·  Upgrades and re-engineering of antenna and transmission systems

·  Repairs, Realignment of antenna, diversity solutions.

·  24/7 support with a 6 hr. reaction within the 26 counties of Ireland

The General Principles of safety and prevention are adhered to at all times.

Safe access to all sites for installation and on-going maintenance is paramount to all rigging works. Safety files are prepared at the completion of every project and include the following documentation:

·  As built drawings

·  Access and Maintenance arrangements

·  Existing hazards on site

·  Method Statements and risk assessments

·  Material Safety Data Sheets

·  Commissioning Certificates

·  Safe to climb certificates

·  As built photographs

·  Copies of Health and Safety documentation (if applicable)

All COMSOL employees have FAS Safe Pass Accreditation as required under the Ninth Schedule of S.I No. 481 of 2001.

COMSOL. provides the necessary Building Services to the telecommunications industry to cater for the varied range of construction sites, inherent to the deployment of cellular and fixed line networks. Typical works carried out on sites include that of Green Field and Roof Top sites and include, but not limited to the following:

Green Field Sites

·  Scanning of ground to locate underground services.

·  Health and Safety Control measures

·  Excavation to bearing level and construction of access roadways, nominally DOE Specification Clause 804 on a Geotextile membrane.

·  Construction of PAD foundations for antenna support structures

·  Construction of driven and bored piles to support antenna support structure foundations

·  Erection of antennas support structures and ancillaries

·  Drainage systems and attenuation areas for surface water

·  Foundations for equipment cabinets

Insurance Cover:

COMSOL carry insurance for building, installation of concrete, assembly and erection of steel tower structures including ancillary works, groundwork and installation of antenna and cabling to include Employers and Public Liability (copy available upon request)
