About the Pastorship:
The Singsaas Free Lutheran Congregation is seeking a part-time Pastor. The congregation is very active and can rely on guest pastors for occasional (or frequent) pulpit fill, giving much flexibility to this Pastor position.
Position Details:

Displays a vibrant love for Christ and His bride, the Church.
Approximately a 1/3rd to 1/2 time position
Total 15 - 20 hours per week
Officiate three Sunday morning services per month (negotiable)
One Sunday per month spend most of the day for home visitations, nursing home visits and/or maybe an evening service.
One afternoon and/or evening during the week for visitations, Ladies Aid, Bible study, council meetings and misc.
Funerals or emergencies could replace mid-week duties.
Mileage (negotiable)
Four weeks off per year (negotiable)
We would embrace a bi-occupational situation
Optional 6 month or 1 year agreement to start
Congregation/Association Theology:
Singsaas freely associates with the Association of Free Lutheran Congregations (AFLC). Pastors would need to agree AFLC’s Statement of Faith. Singsaas was founded in 1874 by Rev. Elling Eilsen, the first Norwegian Pastor in America.
Location:
Singsaas is a country church located on the eastern edge of SD near Hendricks MN. Other area towns include Astoria, Toronto and White, SD.
