Directions:
Create a crossword puzzle using vocabulary on the “Government & Economics Vocabulary” list. The clues can be written definitions, examples, or picturesillustrating the definition.
CREATE THE CLUES:
- Find the “Government & Economics Vocabulary” list; it’s page 2 of this packet.
- Look up definitions (of the words you choose)in:
- the Glossary of the textbook (while in the classroom)
- your notes
- a dictionary
- any other ACADEMIC resource
- Write definitions or examples IN YOUR OWN WORDS for each vocabulary word. These will be the clues in your crossword puzzle.
- Your clues can be written definitions or examples (see #3), OR you can draw pictures, diagrams, etc.
CREATE THE PUZZLE:
- Create the actual puzzle using grid paper. Write your clues underneath.
- Write the answer key on the provided Answer Key paper.
