Directions:

Create a crossword puzzle using vocabulary on the “Government & Economics Vocabulary” list. The clues can be written definitions, examples, or picturesillustrating the definition.

CREATE THE CLUES:

  1. Find the “Government & Economics Vocabulary” list; it’s page 2 of this packet.
  2. Look up definitions (of the words you choose)in:
  • the Glossary of the textbook (while in the classroom)
  • your notes
  • a dictionary
  • any other ACADEMIC resource
  1. Write definitions or examples IN YOUR OWN WORDS for each vocabulary word. These will be the clues in your crossword puzzle.
  2. Your clues can be written definitions or examples (see #3), OR you can draw pictures, diagrams, etc.

CREATE THE PUZZLE:

  1. Create the actual puzzle using grid paper. Write your clues underneath.
  2. Write the answer key on the provided Answer Key paper.
